Hello, I'm Jasmine!
I recently graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Design with an emphasis in Interaction Design and a minor in Technology Management.

Why Design?
Growing up in a bilingual household, I often had to translate information for my family, an early lesson in the importance of clarity and accessibility. This experience naturally shaped how I view design: not just as a visual experience, but as a powerful tool for communication.
As an undergrad, I became passionate about user-centered design, especially the research phase. Through user interviews, I uncovered insights that not only guided my work but also helped me overcome creative blocks and address challenges I couldn’t solve alone.

"At the heart of my work is a deep respect for people’s lived experiences, and a desire to design with them in mind. 🩵"
My Summer in Japan: A Design Student Abroad
Even with limited Japanese, Japan’s intentional design made daily life easy to navigate, an experience that deeply resonated with me as a student designer. Taking a graphic design studio abroad surrounded by constant inspiration was truly life-changing.
